Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Valeriia Flowers (SRL "Valeriia Flowers"), operator of the website valeriiaflowers.md, uses cookies and similar browser technologies. Our approach is deliberately minimal: strictly necessary technologies always run, while analytics and advertising ones switch on only after you press “Accept all” in the consent banner. This document should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes in full how we process personal data.

1. What are cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. When you return to the site, the browser sends the cookie back, allowing certain features to work correctly or securely.

Local storage (and the related session storage) is a similar mechanism built into modern browsers. It lets a website save small pieces of data directly in your browser — for example, to remember the contents of your shopping cart between pages. Unlike tracking cookies, this data stays in your browser and is not automatically transmitted to advertisers or third parties.

Both technologies can be viewed, cleared or blocked at any time through your browser settings, as described in Section 5.

2. Analytics and advertising — only with your consent

Since 3 August 2026 we use two Google services: Google Analytics 4, to understand which pages and bouquets are useful to visitors, and Google Ads, to see which advertising actually brings orders. Here is exactly how that works:

Before you decide, these technologies store no cookies at all. We run Google Consent Mode v2: until you press a button in the banner the tags stay in the “denied” state and send only anonymous signals carrying no identifiers.
If you choose “Accept all”, Google Analytics analytics cookies and Google Ads advertising cookies are switched on.
If you choose “Necessary only”, no analytics or advertising cookie is set. The site keeps working in full and you can place an order as usual.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for their own advertising. We use no Yandex.Metrica, Facebook Pixel or comparable tracker.

3. The technologies we actually use

Our site relies on two categories of technology, both essential to providing the service you request.

Functional browser storage (localStorage)

These items are stored in your own browser and are used to make core shop features work. They are not tracking tools.

vf_cart — remembers the products you add to your shopping cart, so your selection is not lost as you move between pages. Necessary for placing an order.
vf_wish — stores your favourites / wishlist, so you can save products you are interested in. Necessary for the wishlist feature to work.
vf-chat-sid — a random chat session identifier used by our AI chat assistant to keep the conversation connected to your session. Necessary for the chat assistant to function.

Technical and security cookies (Cloudflare)

We use Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site (content delivery, security and protection against attacks). Cloudflare sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies for these purposes, including:

__cf_bm — helps distinguish genuine visitors from automated bots, protecting the site and its users. Necessary for security.
cf_clearance — used to confirm that a security check has been passed and to keep the site accessible to you. Necessary for security and correct operation of the site.

These cookies are set for the sole purpose of keeping the website available, safe and functioning correctly.

Analytics and advertising cookies (Google — consent only)

These appear in your browser only after you press “Accept all”:

_ga and _ga_<id> — Google Analytics 4. Distinguish visitors and sessions so we can see anonymous statistics: which pages and bouquets are popular, and where visitors drop off. Stored for up to 2 years.
_gcl_au — Google Ads. Lets us connect an order to the ad you arrived from. Stored for up to 90 days.
vf-consent-v1 (local storage) — remembers your answer to the banner so we do not ask on every visit. Saved for either answer, including a refusal.

These services are operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

4. Legal basis

The functional and security technologies listed above are strictly necessary. They are required to deliver a service you have explicitly requested — such as adding items to your cart, using the chat assistant, or accessing a secure and protected website.

Under the applicable data-protection framework — Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 133 of 08.07.2011 on the protection of personal data (replaced from 23 August 2026 by Law No. 195 of 25 July 2024, which transposes EU Regulation 2016/679) and, for data subjects in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — strictly necessary and functional technologies of this kind do not require prior consent. Instead, our obligation is to inform you about them transparently, which is the purpose of this policy.

The analytics and advertising cookies described above do require your prior consent — the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the corresponding provisions of Law No. 195/2024. That consent is freely given: refusing changes nothing about your access to the site, the prices you see, or your ability to order.

How to withdraw or change your consent: clear the site data for valeriiaflowers.md in your browser settings — this removes the vf-consent-v1 entry, so the banner reappears on your next visit and you can choose differently. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

5. How to manage and delete these technologies

You remain in full control. Every modern browser lets you view, delete and block cookies and clear local storage. You can typically do this from the browser's privacy or security settings, for example:

Delete existing cookies and clear site data / local storage;
Block cookies from specific sites or all sites;
Set the browser to ask you before storing data.

Please note that because the technologies we use are essential, disabling or clearing them may break core features of the site — for example, your shopping cart or favourites may not be remembered, the chat assistant may not work, or security checks may prevent the page from loading correctly.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we change the technical services we rely on. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date below. We encourage you to review it periodically.
